1. CONCERT DVDs of each of the Christmas programs (elementary, middle school, and chorale/band) will be available next week. Middle school and chorale/band DVDs are $6.00 each. The cost for the elementary DVD is $9.00. This increase will cover copyright/royalty fees due for each copy we make (upper elementary play). Send orders to Kathy Grove in the main office.
2. PTF FUNDRAISER: This year instead of pizza we will be selling Wolfgang candy. Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 4th, each student will receive an order packet. Orders (with payment) are due February 3rd, for pick up March 19th. The top selling class will receive a “Stress Down Day” reward–slippers/loungewear day with donuts being served for breakfast. Proceeds from the sale will go towards the cost of window treatments in the family consumer science classroom and for 2 flat screen TVs for the school lobbies.
3. ATHLETIC NEWS: Christmas Tournament results – Our varsity boys basketball team took second place in the Fannett-Metal Christmas Tournament. Jeffrey McCracken and Matt Wenger received all-tournament recognition.
Alumni night – this Saturday, January 7th: This year, instead of our traditional alumni vs. varsity basketball games, we are planning an evening of casual fun and fellowship in the gym and lobby for Shalom alumni, with basketball, volleyball and ping pong. Pizza will be served. We invite all Shalom Alumnus to attend!
“Flames Frenzy” t-shirt orders are due this Friday, January 6th. Order forms are available in the main office.

Children’s book: Mrs. Maxson, one of Shalom’s bus drivers, and her friend have written a short chapter book about the antics of Sammy, one of her crazy cats. This book can be purchased in the elementary office for $10. The author will donate $2 to Shalom for each book sold.

18 Hours of Cropping. No Frills- a few drawings and great cropping space. Friday hours: 3pm to Midnite. Saturday Hours: 9am to 6pm. Bring your own food or grab a bite at a local restaurant.
Cost: $7 per day. $12 for weekend. $20 for BOTH!!!
