Developing Lives of Consequence

We seek to provide an environment that engages the mind—and the heart—of every student. Our programs are established on the fact that God’s word is the standard of truth—guiding our school’s focus, purpose, and direction. Our Christian culture and education standpoint is simply an extension of what is taught first by parents in the home and through the local church.

High School

High School

High school is a time of growth and opportunity. There is important development happening in a different way as they begin to gain increasing independence. High school students begin to explore that independence as they gear up for adulthood and see themselves as a larger part of their community and world.

Student Life

Student Life

Shalom Christian Academy recognizes that school life includes more than classroom instruction. We seek to provide opportunities for students to interact and build relationships with faculty and other students. Traditions such as the annual 5th grade faculty-student kickball game, spirit weeks and Mini Terms enhance our community and reinforce our mission.

I love the community where there are always new people to meet. The teachers are very understanding, helpful, and overall care about everybody. The faculty shows us every day how to live through Christian values. The athletic programs are great and the coaches are wonderful. I am grateful to be able to attend Shalom Christian Academy. - Paige (Class of 2028)

I enjoy my friends at Shalom and I also notice the care and concern the teachers have for their students. - Val (Class of 2026)

New Quote One 2

I love almost everything about Shalom. I enjoy the recesses with the Gaga pit and my friends and teachers. I also enjoy that I was able to get my Bible from doing the Victory Drill. I also enjoy the chapel during the school day. - Obadiah (Class of 2035)

Servanthood

Servanthood

Servanthood promotes the value of serving others. It is an attitude of the heart where students recognize that the needs and desires of others are more important than their own. This is possible as they study Christ and begin to understand His character. They acknowledge that they have a current role in God’s kingdom.

Community

Community

Community is realized as we foster wholeness in relationships. We desire to have a culture that has regard for the whole person. We learn to live with imperfect people while creating space for each of us to grow in the image of God. We care for and respect others. This provides a safe place for learning to happen.
