This is the story of a young Jewish girl who becomes a queen. Far from a “rags to riches” story, Esther finds herself standing
between the King and the annihilation of the Jewish people, her people. She alone has a chance to save them. But, in order to intercede for the Jews, she must disobey the King’s rules and come before him unbidden. Will she try to intercede for the Jews? If she does go to the king, will he receive her, or will he banish her as he did his previous queen for disobeying him? Or, will Esther decide to conceal her heritage and ignore the cries of her people?
